Safety Record
Falling Snow
We've had a nice start to the new year with no accidents yet to report.
To keep your drive safe, please be sure to remove the ice and snow from the top of your vehicle before driving to or from work. Snow and ice can easily blow off the top of your vehicle creating a hazard for those driving behind you.
 Also, please avoid using Asbestos Snow, no matter how fire proof, clean, or white it looks.
As always, please report all safety hazards, near miss incidents and safety success stories.

Welcomes and Farewells
This week we say hello and goodbye to OPP employees. Please take a moment to reach out to both.
Welcome
Vanessa Bierly is the Systems Engineering Specialist. She is coming to OPP from the College of Engineering, and she worked for several years at G.O. Hawbaker where she gained experience in construction management and engineering processes. Her first day was Wednesday.
Farewell
Tina Schultz-Ebersole will be leaving her position as a Custodian this Monday. We wish her well as she moves on to a new position in Auxiliary & Business Services.

 Thank you to everyone who brought in winter gear and home goods for the Hurricane Holiday Help. Several OPP employees and community members drove to New Jersey over the break to deliver the supplies and assist with homeless shelters and relief efforts. |
