The Fiat Build Begins!

We have begun building a model of the Fiat F-2 130 HP Racer 1907. As we promised years ago, we will replace all the brass colored plastic parts with real bronze castings! The Rocker Arms are just about finished.

We started with our famous Wooden Wheels...see above. (The brass parts will be painted red)

One of the most egregious mistakes Pocher made in the later kits was the seats...they are wrong for this prototype! And, of course, they should be made with real leather. We are working on a solution. To view some early construction photos click this link to our Picasa Web Album

The parts shown in the above photo have been sent to our resin caster and then we can test the system! The Replacement Kit will include the resin parts, foam rubber, pins, patterns, leather and piping...with Instructions.
