Last month, I discussed the stratagems of Satan to keep people out of heaven. One of these stratagems touched on defiling the Church. Another stratagem was to defile the word by adding to Scripture.
 
One mark of the Charismatic movement is belief in ongoing revelation. This is contrary to the historic Protestant belief in the sufficiency of Scripture. Another mark of the Charismatic movement is a deep yearning for unity.
 
27% of the world's "Christians" are Charismatic/Pentecostal. Recently, Pope Francis recorded a video message to the Kenneth Copeland Ministries urging unity and requesting prayer. I find the testimony of Anglican priest Tony Palmer to be quite amazing. If you want to jump ahead to the Pope's message, it is at the 31 minute mark. The Pope considers himself to be the "Pontiff." This term means "bridge-builder."
