Two brief items to share with you this month, while I am neck deep in tax preparation. I received an article that was forwarded to me by Cecil Andrews of Take Heed Ministries in Northern Ireland. It regards the unexpected renunciation of the "papal throne" by Joseph Ratzinger.

 

In the next few days, a popish conclave will determine who the next "infallible" leader of the Roman Catholic religion will be. This article is a good summary of his pontificate and the future of the papacy:

60 Minutes had an episode on the Sagrada Familia, the huge church building in Barcelona, Spain that has been under construction for over 100 years. This church is a good image of the Roman Catholic religion: full of appealing beauty, ancient history, gaudi-ness (pardon the pun - Gaudi is the long-dead architect) and especially that it is unfinished. My spouse thought that it looks like a giant sand castle. Here is the video of the show:
