Greetings!

For those who live in the vicinity of Charlotte, there are two great opportunities:

First, if you have not visited the PASSAGES exhibit, I highly recommend it. PASSAGES is a 35,000 s.f. exhibit devoted to the Bible. The journey starts in a replica of the caves at Qumran, with several fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls. Other rooms are devoted to the Jewish and Christian Scribes who faithfully copied the Scriptures, Jerome's cave, European translations of the Bible, Gutenberg's Print Shop, the Reformation Theater, the Kings James Bible, William Tyndale, and the Judaica Exhibit.

On Tuesday nights, there are free lectures. The exhibit is in Charlotte until March, 2013. For more information, go to www.explorepassages.com .

Second, Rob Zins (Christian Witness to Roman Catholicism) is conducting a series of lectures at Independence Hill Baptist Church on Eastfield Road, for the next four Wednesday nights (11/28, 12/5, 12/12, and 12/19). The lectures start at 7 P.M.

The first lecture is "The reasons for the Protestant Reformation."
The second lecture is "The RC response to the Protestant Reformation."
The third lecture is "The Reversal of the Protestant Reformation."
The fourth lecture is "The Modern Ecumenical Mindset."

I encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities. Contact me if you have any questions, need directions, want to carpool, etc.!!!

In Christ,

Dale
