Going Once, Going Twice...SOLD!
Greetings!

Yes, it has been 25 years since it all started.

Things have changed allot in 25 years, like the sizes of our family and staff. We even designed our auction software to allow for on line bidding (bidding at home in your pajamas or at the event while visiting with friends or from anywhere in the world), you can view auction items, current bids, get up to date auction information, plus purchase get your receipt to speed up your pick up.

We are proud of all we have achieved and excited to be a part of what the future of auctions is to be in the next 25 years.

Sincerely,
Lloyd and Mary Cooper

Memos from Mary

I remember when Lloyd graduated from Auctioneer School...I didn't get to attend the ceremony because I was at home, pregnant with our daughter, Emily.
We were both so excited, so many good changes happening in our lives.

Auctions and Events

Most auctions happen in the fall, winter, and spring. The planning season for auctions is now. Schedule a time to discuss your large or small auction whether it is to be online, live, silent and/or mobile event. Benefit Bidding has you covered.

Each nonprofit is different and we will help you plan your auction to stand out. Scheduling a planning meeting with us expect to discuss needs, get new ideas, and have a timeline leading up to the event.

Join our mailing list and get our, "31 Tips to Achieving Record Breaking Auctions". Print it, read it, mark it up with questions, highlight items to discuss with us.

Appointments are being scheduled--contact Mary at 214-726-1745 or [email protected].
What is Benefit Bidding Up To?
Two auctions in one day. A luncheon gala, "Rhaspody in the Afternoon" with the theme of Kentucky Derby with lovely derby hats every where. The non profit was Denton County, Friends of the Family.

The evening event was The Society of St Vincent de Paul, McKinney. "The Passport to Paris" theme was carried from the online bidding to the French candies that were sold at a flat price.

Thank you for selecting Benefit Bidding as your Auctioneer.

Can you believe it? Benefit Bidding has been helping non-profit organizations for 25 years!  This month we decided to ask Mary about the start of the business.

  Enjoy!

When did you and Lloyd get married?

October 15, 1983 in Topeka, KS.  We met in high school in Fall, 1978 - in debate class. Lloyd was (still is) an excellent debater - won many competitions.  Me - well, not so much...

What Others Are Saying!

"After hearing that our local food bank was in dire need of both food and funds, we decided to have a silent auction. We thought an online auction would reach more bidders and a friend suggested I contact Lloyd Cooper, the auctioneer who conducts the live auction at the Quilters Guild of Dallas show each year. Lloyd is very good and, thanks to his auctioneer abilities, I have bought quite a few minis over the years. He recently started an on-line auction company, Benefit Bidding, to benefit charitable organizations. I sent them the banner from our website and they built the page to look similar to our site. They built our auction page, complete with our mini quilts, in just 2 days. There were also links to our website on the page. They even took care of the press releases! I was contacted by several people in the media and there was an article in our paper. We were thrilled with the outcome and so was our food bank."
