Going Once, Going Twice...SOLD!
Greetings!

Callie, the newest member of our Benefit Bidding Family, is at it again! She is one of the busiest members we have.
It has been a long time since we have had a pet around and we enjoy watching her play with our online auction set ups and helping us type this newsletter. She does give her opinion if she feels if what we are doing is not fun.

Benefit Bidding

Notes from Lloyd

End of April, Mary and I attended the Texas Auctioneers Association Convention in Frisco. It is always a great place to connect with friends and colleagues throughout the auction industry with the added bonus to share and learn new techniques in the auction industry.

Next month, 25 years ago, we started our dream of Benefit Bidding. Our June Newsletter will be filled with our memories.

Ideas for Auction

We found out that a member of a non profit taught Wine 101 Classes, so of course we suggested that they offer a class for eight people. It was one of the highest bidding auction item of their event. The six wines and wine lessons were donated, a private home was used for the setting, the only expenses were the food for the tastings/pairing and the wine toppers for the party favors. The event is already causing excitement for the next auction.
We have ideas, just ask.

Many people go on vacation during the summer.  If you plan on going somewhere, or even having a staycation, use it as inspiration for your next auction.

When I go on vacation, I usually do and try things I normally wouldn't at home.  For example, on a cruise there are many things that are great activities your group could auction.  I went to a high tea once.  Why not auction off a tea party...

What Others Are Saying!

"I have been involved with two charity organizations that used Benefit Bidding Auctions for their fund raisers.  Admittedly, we had some well-intentioned volunteers in our organizations, but we did not have experience with auctions or web design.  It was a great relief having Benefit Bidding to take care of those tasks so we could focus on our event.  Benefit Bidding helped us through the process starting with organizing the auction items, photographs, and designing the action web site.  The owners are cordial and very prompt with their replies.  Benefit Bidding made both of our events successful and we will use them again."
