  Once we had purchased a professional winder and found the right cardboard tubes for packaging, we were in business!  

   I traveled to Rhode Island to Standard Mill Machinery where Dave Austin custom built the winder I wanted to create the perfectly wound tube--one that would be neat and compact and easy to use.

  I also ordered a digital yardage counter to insure that every four ounce Mini Cone had the correct amount of yardage. We don't want you running out of yarn!

  Whenever I walk into Cotton Clouds and hear the hum of the winder, I know that your order for either 4 oz Mini Cones or our many custom designed kits is being filled and you'll soon have a wonderful variety of Cotton Clouds' yarns, textures and colors in hand!
