How Cotton Is Ginned       

How seeds are removed                 from the cotton fiber   Cotton is fed into the machine As the handle is turned, the cylinder and brushes revolve. Wire teeth catch the cotton fibers and pull them through narrow slots The seeds are too large to pass through the slots.  They fall to the bottom of the gin.
