I try to follow my passions! Spinning has always been on the top of that list!
I can remember the first time I saw someone spinning and I knew right then and there that I had to spin!
I bought myself an Ashford Spinning wheel back in 1976 when you had to put an order together of 10 wheels and send your cashier's check to New Zealand and wait for what seemed like an eternity for your kitset wheel to arrive!
I talked every friend and relative into ordering with me and boy did I follow my passion! I spun wool (in the grease at first because I didn't know any better) and every fiber I could get my hands on!
Where has my passion for spinning taken me? Well, right here to owning Cotton Clouds for over 35 years and you know, I still get goose bumps when I spin!
I encourage you to give spinning a try. It really isn't difficult to teach yourself. Start small or think big!
