Are you ready for High on Ice Winter Fest? We are! Fort St. John's annual winter festival is here! Join us at Centennial Park from February 7-10th to part take in all of our fun family activities planned which include:

Inflatable Toy Fun at the Pool
From 6:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday, February 28 the pool staff is planning some crazy fun with a HUGE inflatable toy in the pool!!  This is your chance to have some fun with the whole family and something you don't get to play on everyday..  come on down to the pool and get crazy with the staff!

Regular admission applies.



Opportunity to provide your input

The City's Community Services Department would like to find out what your experiences have been as well what you would like to see regarding our recreation facilities, fitness programming and special events.

 

City staff will be conducting surveys in the next couple of weeks at recreation facilities, special events as well through telephone surveys.  It is also available electronically on our website at: www.fortstjohn.ca/rec-survey

We value YOUR opinions and experiences. The responses we receive will assist us in planning and providing recreation opportunities in the future for our community. 

 

 

 

Tween & Teen Night at the Pool
The North Peace Leisure Pool will close the doors to the general public during the evening on Thursday, February 27 so ONLY our youth can be part of the fun!

7:00pm - 8:30pm:  Tween -  youth aged 8-11
9:00pm - 10:30pm:  Teens - youth aged 12-18

Youth can have a blast at the pool! Come hang out, play some games, win some prizes, eat pizza and drink some juice. Enjoy a great night packed with tons of fun! Only $6.00 per person.

Community Awards

On April 10  individuals whose contributions have been of significant benefit to Fort St John will be celebrated as we publicly honor and recognize the talents, dedication and generosity of our outstanding citizens, businesses, athletes, and volunteers whose unique gifts have contributed so greatly to life in Fort St John.

Walking Challenges

Individual & Corporate Walking Challenges have begun but it's not too late to sign-up!  There is still 4 weeks left in the individual challenge and the Corporate/Team challenge has just begun!

 

Registration is FREE! Sign up with a Customer Service Representative at the Visitor Centre located on the first level of the Pomeroy Sport Centre.

 

The dates are as follows:

Individual Challenge: Jan. 15 - Feb. 26

Corporate Team Challenge: Jan. 29-Mar.12
