Well, once again my beginning-of-the-month Newsletter is coming out late. I've essentially abandoned my Book That Job Blog -- YIKES. And I cannot believe that we will only be having four Book Club for Actors this year.

However, I did manage to get my solo show (the one that I've been writing since 2012) up and running and perform it in two countries this year!

I think my students might agree that teaching-wise I fall somewhere in the "she's really nice, but her class is kind of hard" category. I set the bar high and demand a lot for and from my students.

I deeply appreciate this opportunity to practice what I preach and I am very grateful and completly honored that so many of you were able to come and see me in Rhonda Badonda. THANK YOU!!!

Me and my fabulous director, Gareth Hendee, on opening night in NYC:

And if you missed it -- not to worry! I will be doing the show throughout 2016 and will keep you apprised of upcoming performances.

Now -- goodness gracious -- back to my regularly scheduled running of Art & Soul Acting!

We got classes, we got the book clubs, we got workshops! And, as always, we got private coaching!

The Drop in Acting Class is in session each Wednesday and please see below for info on the winter/spring 2016 Core Acting Technique Class -- dates are announced.

And after a very intense year looking at the plays of Henrik Ibsen and August Wilson, things have lightened up considerably as we now delve into the plays and films of Neil Simon in our final Book Club for Actors of 2015.

And last, but hardly least: Leap with Passion into 2016!!! That's right, we are getting close to that time of year. See below and save the date!

And finally, a huge thank you to all of my students for putting up with my slightly off-kilter schedule this fall. You know you all have my heart.

Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Rhonda

The Book Club for Actors is offered twice; please choose either meeting:

WHEN: Monday, November 30, 7-9 - East Village
                 OR
                 Saturday, December 5, 3-5 - East Village

LEAP with Passion into 2015!!!
VISIONLeap 2016 celebrates the 8th year of the annual
Leap with Passion Workshop.

Leap with Passion into 2016!!!
Do you get near the end of the year wishing you had the time to slow down and take stock of your life in order to make changes that stick for the New Year? And then in a blur of the holiday rush, the next thing you know...it's February.

That's exactly why the Leap with Passion Workshop was created!

Rhonda Musak's amazing Leap With Passion workshop offers a structured, inspiring, creative approach to defining where you want to go, what you want to do and who you want to be.
 ~ Gareth Hendee ~

In this 5-hour workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:
  • Powerfully complete the past year and joyfully celebrate its greatest accomplishments.
  • Turn the challenges of past year into fuel for the next.
  • Learn an amazing goal-setting technique that is the difference that makes the difference in terms of "sticking to it."
  • Design 3 life changing, personal focuses for the year ahead that are achievable and really inspire.
  • Discover who they need to be and they actions they need to take in order to succeed in accomplishing their 3 focuses.
  • Express and joyfully celebrate life.
Having attended Rhonda's workshop both online and in person, I found them to be equally powerful. Rhonda's keen sense of timing and ability to focus my attention works its magic just as beautifully on screen as she does in person.
~ Kim Chinh ~

Leap with Passion into 2016 will be offered 4 times:
  • Saturday, December 26, 2015 - Chicago
  • Saturday, January 2, 2016 - NYC
  • Saturday, January 9, 2016 - Online Live
  • Sunday, January 10, 2016 - NYC
Attend "Leap with Passion" and start your year off with a fresh eyes and fervent action.

Why I Love Actor Newsletters (And What Having One Can Do for You)

My e-mail inbox is a very busy place. My guess is that yours is, too. And to be more effective and efficient, I've recently been taking the Inbox Zero approach to sorting and processing my email. This tactic has proved quite successful.

However when I see a newsletter come into my inbox from one of my acting students or an acting colleague, I throw efficiency out the window and get excited. You may think that's silly, but what gem, what jewel, I wonder, will this virtual delight contain?!?
