Burrr. Thank goodness Valentine's Day is on the way...something's got to keep us warm during these freezing February days!

As much so I'm looking forward to this month, I'm also slightly sad to say goodbye (until December!) to leading the Leap with Passion workshop.

Whether in NYC, Chicago, Portland, ME or Online/Live it was my absolute joy and pleasure to help so many wonderful Leapers kick off a phenomenal new year. Thank you to all of the workshop participants, your presence created an environment that was warm and nourishing to all.

And as Art & Soul Acting moves forward into 2015, I'm thrilled to announce my winter acting classes. On next Wednesday, February 11, the Drop-In Acting Class will resume and my Core Acting Technique class will begin on Tuesday, March 17. Please see info below and visit my website for complete details and registration.

I'm also happy to say that the Book Club for Actors is back in action after our holiday break. Check out the details below, I promise you, these are some perfect plays to sink your teeth into during these long dark winter nights.

Stay warm & be well!

Rhonda

What's Going on with Acting Class?
GrowFor an actor, acting class is the #1 laboratory for growth and exploration.  It is the place to take risks...a safe harbor where it's okay to let go of perfection in lieu of stretching and expanding beyond limitations.

2015 classes begin this month!

Core Acting Technique
Core Acting Technique is a dynamic, structured 10-week class designed to fortify and deepen the skills that go into brilliant acting while stretching students as artists and as human beings.

Class Structure
Acting exercises, take home assignments for in-class work and scene study make up the bulk of each class. This powerful classroom work allows students to grow at a rapid pace while creating an acting foundation that will serve for a lifetime.

This is not a sit in your seat lecture. Students are up on their feet working in every class in a supportive environment that allows them to really take risks and fly.

Class size is kept small so that participants have time to be up on their feet working, making mistakes, learning from their mistakes and growing into ever more powerful actors.

Art & Soul Acting travels! The Summer Acting Intensive for Teens is a one-of-a-kind traveling professional acting workshop. Teens spend a week training like the pros!

Created in 2011-but dreamed about for a long time, the aim of this workshop is to bring acting training to teens who might not otherwise have the opportunity to study professionally.

Working with Rhonda Musak is such a privilege. She is so supportive, outgoing and fun--I was thoroughly impressed. My confidence and ability as an actor has grown so much!

Moving Forward as an Actor Even When You (Temporarily!) Don't Feel Like It

Keep Moving Forward

Wouldn't it be wonderful if every day were a stellar day? Upon waking, you fly out of bed with boundless energy filled with brilliant strategies to move forward with unstoppable passion toward your acting dreams and visions, challenges easily handled with resourcefulness and actions executed with joy.

Ah...to live in the land of honey and clover! It would indeed be wonderful to experience those kinds of days every day, and, gratefully, most of us generally have days that are quite productive and present and even inspiring and fun. However, I want to zero in on those days that are nothing like anything that I have mentioned thus far. I'm speaking of those days when you wake up and are already out of inspiration and momentum and have no desire to find either...

Recommendation: The Face
Engage
I'm making discoveries all the time and want to share them with you!

Check out "The Face" a film by my acting mentor and dear friend, Elizabeth Browning. This film inspires my soul and speaks to me of our true beauty that is found in the expression of the compellingly gorgeous lives we live.

"What if we were really beautiful and didn't know it?  The Face is about awakening and seeing our unspeakable beauty in every stage of life. It is a love letter to women and men of all ages. This life affirming film is inspiring women of every age to shift our existing beliefs around age and beauty, and reconsider the way we view ourselves and those we love." Elizabeth Browning
