Campus Life Welcome Month
Friday, Sept. 13 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. SMC Campus Center and the School of Nursing Lawn Rain location: Inside the SMC Campus Center
This fun-filled event is a great way for UMB students to discover the many ways to get involved on campus. Involvement opportunities with student groups, campus departments, and the community will be showcased. There will be free food (for students only), prizes, giveaways, and fun for everyone!

Slightly shorter than normal classes, this group exercise sampling is followed by Q&A sessions with instructors. You can drop in at anytime during classes and come as you are - classes are "street clothes" friendly.

Student Parking Permit Notice
Parking and Transportation Services Permit renewal deadline: Sunday, 9/22 622 W. Fayette St.
All students must now display a valid student parking permit with an expiration date of 9/1/14. Please visit the Parking and Transportation Services Office located at 622 W. Fayette St. to purchase a valid student parking permit. Failure to do so by Sunday, 9/22/13 will result in you not being allowed to park in the Lexington St. garage. Also, failure to obtain a valid student permit will result in you paying the visitor rate when exiting UMB garages.

The NEW Seven Scholars University Store will be open on Monday, Sept. 30. The UMB Bookstore will be closed Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 29 while we move to the SMC Campus Center.

Writing for Wellness Workshop

In this workshop, you will be guided through a series of therapeutic writing exercises and read select pieces of literature as a source of inspiration and transformation.
