 | | Congratulations to Bookstore Naming Contest Winners!    There were 672 entries for the Bookstore Naming Contest! The winning names were chosen by a committee of students, faculty, and staff. Thanks for participating!    First Place Winner Seven Scholars, submitted by student Kenny Barajas

Lexington Market Facebook Promotion  
   School of Social Work       This year the UMB School of Social Work launched new community building initiatives at Lexington Market. In an effort to increase outreach to the UMB campus, please like the Facebook page and complete the survey.     Current UMB students who have liked the page AND completed the survey will be chosen at random to receive a gift certificate to use at any of the vendors in the Market. If you have already completed the survey and want to be entered to receive a gift certificate, make sure you 'liked' the official Lexington Market page.   | 
 | Rally to Prevent Gun Violence     Marylanders To Prevent Gun Violence Friday, March 1 Bus leaves from the School of Social Work at 9:15 a.m. Rally starts at 10:30 a.m. Lawyer's Mall, Annapolis, MD       Join students and advocates from across Maryland as we rally in support of common-sense proposals to reduce gun violence. Homemade signs supporting gun violence prevention are encouraged.    |

We'll review CPT, OPT, academic training, and on-campus employment. Students graduating this spring should attend as we'll discuss the OPT application process.
