Please bring in coats and sleeping bags during the National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week. Items will be given out directly to our homeless friends and neighbors during our November 17 event, which will take homeless-related issues to City Hall.

This year, the UM School of Social Work launched new community building initiatives at Lexington Market. The school has dedicated a Master of Social Work student through May 2013 to implement the Market's social media strategy and to activate dead space around the facility.
In an effort to increase outreach to the UM campus, please like us on Facebook and complete our short survey.
Current UM students who have liked the page and completed the survey will be chosen at random to receive a gift certificate to use at any of the vendors in the Market. We look forward to your support and feedback.

Project Feast is a Thanksgiving dinner for homeless and disadvantaged persons in west Baltimore sponsored by the SOM Student Council, USGA, and the Medical Alumni Association. We are collecting clothing, shoes, blankets, toiletries, and food. Please drop off donations in the boxes located around campus.
