Winter Coats and Sleeping Bags Donations Needed
School of Social Work and Project Jump Start 

Collecting now until Saturday, Nov. 17

Donation boxes are in the lobbies of the SMC Campus Center, HS/HSL, School of Law, School of Pharmacy, the Lexington Building, and the Mailroom in the School of Social Work. 

           

Are you ready for the cold? Well get ready and support the collection of coats and sleeping bags during the National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week. Items will be given out directly to our homeless friends and neighbors during our November 17 event, which will take homeless-related issues to City Hall.

Project Feast Donations Needed

Project Feast

Collecting now until Wednesday, Nov. 21

Donation boxes in the lobbies of Howard Hall, HSF-I, entry to School of Nursing, UMMC, School of Pharmacy, the Allied Health Building, and other locations around campus. 

           

Project Feast is a Thanksgiving dinner for homeless and disadvantaged persons in west Baltimore sponsored by the SOM Student Council, USGA, and the Medical Alumni Association. We are collecting clothing, shoes, blankets, toiletries, and food. Please drop off donations in the boxes located around campus.

Travel Workshop for International Students

We'll review the process for re-entry to the US and applying for renewal of US visa stamp. Travel for H1B's will not be discussed during this event.
