May 2015
Lt. Governor's Turkey Hunt
Staff from the Ada Jobs Foundation as well as numerous other leaders from area communities organized and attended the Oklahoma
Southeast Lt. Governor's Turkey Hunt at Hugo Lake State Park. Twelve site selection consultants from around the country and representing a broad cross section of industries attended this year. This annual event is a great opportunity for our communities to market the area for prospective companies, address strategic concerns, and hear first hand about private sector trends.
Retail Webpage
The Ada Jobs Foundation launched a new page on AdaWorks.org dedicated to retail. The community continues to work to strengthen Ada's retail economy. Campaigns such as Shop Ada work to boost local businesses while attraction efforts focus on filling the gaps to provide additional services to consumers and boost the local tax base. Visit the latest addition to the webpage here.
