Greetings! This newsletter is a bit of a deviation from our normal format. We will be updating you on a few of our highlights as usual, but the main point of this email is to request your prayer!!! At the time of this sending, Rani is on his way to Israel where he will be leading an American group of volunteers from Operation Care on a ministry tour. As many know, Israel/Palestine is currently experiencing a time of great upheaval and increasing violence following the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens, followed by a retaliation murder of a Palestinian teen. The atmosphere is very tense. PLEASE PRAY for the safety of the team and that the peace-filled message of Jesus Christ will be heard and received! More details are below.

10 Days/10 Cities/20 Events

 

Today marks the start of the Operation Care ministry tour, hosted and led by SALAM. The goal of this incredible trip is to "Feed the 5,000" by touching the lives of 5,000 Palestinian and Jewish children through 20 events in 10 cities over 10 days in Israel, Palestine and Jordan. The trip will focus on children's camps, community outreach and distributing backpacks, school supplies, shoes, socks and clothing, among other things.

It is illegal to actively share the Gospel among Jews in Israel, so the team will concentrate on showing the love of Jesus by being His "hands and feet" among the communities as they distribute supplies among needy children. There is no law prohibiting sharing Christ among Arabs in Israel and Palestine, so the group will participate in Bible camps with the kids and will distribute Christian literature and work in refugee camps.
