Family on Bridge

Can you believe summer is almost over? Time sure is flying! As usual, our months have been packed with activities and opportunities for growth. Thank you for taking the time to read about some of our current news. We appreciate each and every one of you!

Jesus is Everything,

Rani, Hannah & Samuel Espanioly
Family News
Family at Park
As September begins, we are eagerly looking forward to celebrating Samuel's 2nd birthday on Sept 12 and anticipating baby Eliza Marie Espanioly's debut sometime around Oct 14. Please be in prayer for Samuel as he will undergo a tonsillectomy this Wednesday, Sept 4 to correct chronic obstructive sleep apnea and repeat infections. We will be with him in the hospital overnight. Pray for peace for us, wisdom for the doctors and nurses and a quick recovery for our precious boy.

Also be in prayer for Rani as he continues in his job at Hunter's Glen and as a full time seminary student at Southwestern. He resumed classes on Monday, Aug 26 and so far is enjoying his new semester. We were beyond blessed to receive a scholarship this semester to cover Rani's education costs. We are totally overwhelmed by the generosity of the donors and the incredible ways God provides for us. Praise the Lord!

Ministry News
This has been a great summer for our ministry. We've had opportunities to reach out to the community here in Texas and have worked with local ministries on the ground in the Holy Land to develop new media resources. You can check out a couple of the newest videos on our YouTube channel.

Some highlights:
  • Rani preached at both the Arabic church and the Chinese church during August.
  • On July 31, Rani shared a presentation on the Parables of Jesus at First Baptist Church in Monroe, LA. What a great experience!
  • Rani continues working with international students on campuses around the Plano area, many of whom are Muslim from Indian and Middle Eastern backgrounds.
  • We also continued our work with IHope ministries, with Rani serving on their discussion panels and helping with training.
  • We are working with two groups in the Holy Land on developing media resources. At the moment we are concentrating on videos featuring interviews among Arab Christian youth in Israel and on Arab Christian leaders in the Palestinian territories. See an interview with Palestinian pastor Jack Sara, president of Bethlehem Bible College here.

Prayer/Praise
  • Please pray for the increasingly desperate situation in the Middle East. With all the tension in Syria, many of our family and friends in Israel are feeling the anxiety and fear of another potential war.
  • Please pray for Samuel as he undergoes surgery on Wednesday, Sept 4.
  • Continue praying for Rani as he works and studies at seminary.
  • Pray for the upcoming arrival of our baby girl in October.
  • We also ask prayer for Hannah's paternal grandmother, Bobbie Buck and the family of her late husband Richard Buck. Richard passed away on  August 22. He and Bobbie have been great supporters and prayer warriors for our family and ministry and he will be missed.
  • Continue praying for opportunities to share Truth with those we encounter on a daily basis.

  • We are so thankful for the incredible provision the Lord has granted us. We are especially thankful for the amazing generosity of those who have supported us financially over the past few months.
  • We are blessed and thankful for the ceaseless prayers of friends and supporters who continually lift us to the Lord. What a powerful blessing!
  • We praise the Lord for the life of Richard Buck and the influence he had on his community through his tireless acts of service.
  • We praise the Lord for our local church family and friends!
