Family Update

It's a GIRL!!!
We are thrilled to announce that baby Espanioly #2 is a girl! Samuel's little sister will be arriving sometime around October 14th. Please continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.
Job Update
Many of you have been faithfully praying as we navigate this time of uncertainty with regard to Rani's part-time job at Hunter's Glen. Right now, it looks like Rani will continue in his role until September, at which point the church will evaluate staff for the next fiscal year. In the meantime, Rani will be looking for another part-time job to help supplement our income as my part-time job as a preschool teacher ended in May. I will be staying home with both children after the birth of our daughter in October. Our housing situation has been resolved for the foreseeable future, praise the Lord! We are so thankful for the kindness of the owner of our current house, who has graciously worked out a very generous arrangement with us to continue living here until things become more concrete. Thank you all for your prayers! God is so faithful!
In other news, Rani finished his first year of seminary with a 3.6 GPA! Not too shabby for someone studying at the Master's level in his third language. We're so proud of him. :)

Ministry Update

- Rani had the privilege of leading an Iraqi Muslim woman to the Lord. Please pray for "Mouhabat" as she makes this incredible first step of faith!
- Along with supervising all international churches at HGBC, Rani has also begun following up with Muslim students attending colleges in our area.
- SALAM was able to recently connect two American families with local ministries in Nazareth for short term mission work. We love making these connections! Rani has also had several opportunities to share about Arab Christians in the Holy Land during Bible studies and group meetings.

SALAM has begun working on a new, practical tour to Israel with our partner, Twins Tours (based in Jerusalem). The tour will focus on short-term missions during a Holy Land visit. If you're interested in this type of mission trip, please contact us.

We're Thankful!
- We're thankful that God has called a new pastor to our church, Hunter's Glen after a year and a half of searching.
- We're thankful that our son Samuel recovered quickly from a minor surgery to insert tubes in his ears to help combat frequent infections.
- We're so thankful for continued opportunities to share the Gospel with those around us!
- We're thankful for the gracious financial, prayer and spiritual support from our ministry friends!

- Please pray as Rani continues in his seminary studies. He is currently attending summer classes and will resume his second year in the fall.
- Please pray for continued opportunities to expand our ministry partnerships.
- Please also pray as Rani looks for a second part-time job to help support our family as I will be staying home with both children.
