ITEMS OF INTEREST

Millions will qualify for new options under the health care law. Most have no idea.

After surviving a Supreme Court decision and a presidential election, the Obama administration's health-care law faces another challenge: a public largely unaware of major changes that will roll out in the coming months. Go to Washington Post article.

Use the AMA "Heal the Claims Process"™ campaign to streamline your practice.

Reducing the cost of claims processing is a prescription for efficiency. One way we've looked to help accomplish this is by guiding you throughout Heal That Claim™ month to resources to improve your cash flow by receiving payment from patients at the time of service.

Register today for this week's webinar, "Helping your patients understand financial responsibility at the time of service, part two: What to do when you encounter bumps in the road," on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time. Hear success stories and tips from physician practices that receive at the time of service. And access the AMA's related point-of-care pricing toolkit, which includes the resource, "How to calculate point-of-care price estimates."
