Keep Live Jazz Alive
I've decided to help in a fundraising effort to KEEP LIVE JAZZ ALIVE. When we heard the last Live Jazz performance was the last one a couple of weeks ago, I got together with Fumiko Wellington that I would help her raise some serious money quickly.

Sustainable Meat? A Rebuttal

The Letter to the Editor pasted below was in rebuttal to the Article about a Dairy to be placed on Kauai.

The YouTube video of my presentation pulled together within an amazing 2 1/2 days into a Power Point Presentation (the first time I've used it) was super stiff as the presentation was edited just 2 hours before the actual delivery.  There is even an Almond Milk Demo at the end of the presentation as a start to kicking the Dairy Habit.  We are selling the recipe and a Mesh Milk Bag at the restaurant, so come on by as supplies are limited.  Now, on to work on my recipe book.

A LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

Sustainable Meat? Nope!

Protect Earth and People against Kauai Dairy cows and milk.  THE CHINA STUDY, by T. Colin Campbell, PhD (C 2004), confirmed previous tests on rats that a diet of 10% or more casein (cow's milk protein) caused death by cancer in 100% of the tests.  Cancer was reversed when only 5% casein was fed to rats.  Plant-based protein did not cause cancer, although not more than 10% protein is recommended for humans.

There's water loss (11,000 gallons per year per grass-fed cow), topsoil loss and desertification on 45% of Earth's land which 70 Billion of them occupy.  There's only 7 Billion of us.  They release Methane (Global Warming Potential, GWP, 72 x as Carbon Dioxide), and Nitrous Oxide (GWP 298 x as CO2).  They are a major cause of upcoming, irreversible Climate Change.  Save the water for people and organic plants for our food.
