Earth Day Celebrations are here!

Earth Day celebrations are in full swing here at the San Ramon Valley Conference Center! We have been celebrating all month long through various activities around campus.

We kicked off the festivities with our From the Farm to the Fork informational booth. Our Food and Beverage Director, Andrea Bird, had a display of local produce that was being featured and served in the dining room. Check out the picture below!

The next week we emphasized the importance of eating sustainable seafood. We had numerous types of seafood on the menu that day that allowed our guests to make smarter choices in where and how they get their seafood. We also offered a Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) recycling program, where guests could turn in their old CFLs and receive a free LED light bulb.

We will bring the Earth Month celebration to a close with our earth conscious BBQ for all of our guests to enjoy. SRVCC is dedicated to educating and practicing green initiatives with our employees and guests.
