Effective on January 1st, 2015 we will be making a rolling branding change to our medical diagnostic grades of acrylic polymer.  We will be changing the branding from the current ACRYLITE® trade name to the trade name CYROLITE®.  

The CYROLITE® trade name will be used globally eliminating the confusion between the ACRYLITE® name that has been used in the Americas and the PLEXIGLAS® name that Evonik owns the rights to in all other parts of the world.  For all medical diagnostic acrylic polymer grades requiring PMMA, the global name will be CYROLITE® acrylic polymer.

For example, if you have been receiving:

ACRYLITE® L40-002 000 clear MD

Sometime after the January 1st, 2015 change, you will be receiving:

CYROLITE® L40-002 000 clear MD

Rest assured that this change will be a branding change only. The product that you have been purchasing from us will remain exactly the same:

• Same formulation
• Same plant of manufacture
• Same QA testing
• Meet the same regulatory standards
