French book fair: Oct. 31, Nov. 1-2
Save the date! Come and browse the selection of French-language books, videos, and music in the cafeteria at the following times:
- October 31: during the first session of La Garderie (3:15-4:30 PM)
- November 1: during Caf� Day (7:45 - 9:00 AM)
- November 1: during the Open House (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Students will have a chance to visit the fair during school hours as well. More information will be sent soon.

Beaujolais Festival 2013
Beaujolais Festival raffle tickets are now on sale. Prizes include:
- A $1,000 Whole Foods gift certificate
- Four Orchestra tickets to Festival Ballet Providence, The Nutcracker;
- One FASRI language course, adult session.
Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five. Parents, please watch for the raffle tickets your child will bring back from school. We still have an urgent need for sponsors! Transition to Middle School: Tonight
Grade 4 and 5 families are invited to learn more about FASRI's middle school program this evening at 6:00 PM. Pizza and refreshments will be served, and 4th and 5th grade students are welcome.

Halloween Parades: Join us
Students will celebrate Halloween with our annual neighborhood parades:
- Maternelle (Pre-School to Kindergarten): 10:45 AM
- Elementary (Grades 1-5): 1:30 PM
We invite you to walk with us and take pictures. Please wait for students outside of the school and be sure to park legally.
Elementary students will change into their costumes after lunch. They should come to school that morning in their normal clothes.

Eighth grade in the Big Apple
Yesterday, the eighth grade took a trip to New York City to see the latest reincarnation of Romeo & Juliet, which they read last year in English class. They had a wonderful time and even got Romeo (played by Orlando Bloom) to sign their playbills!
