Staffing for 2013/14

We are pleased to announce the following partial line-up for the 2013/14 school year. As you will see, there are still a few positions to fill. Once the full roster is complete and confirmed, we will share more information on each of our teachers for your information.

These decisions have been made very carefully with a team of administrators and teachers, over months of interviews and visits and classroom demonstrations. All of our educators, new and returning, are properly certified and trained for the grades they will take on. We continue to work to create a team of long-term, local teachers who will give us a more sustainable teaching core.

Our new team members join us with great enthusiasm for teaching, and for the school of their choice: FASRI. We are equally as excited to work with all of them to make next year great.

Host a new FASRI teacher!

This summer, we will have several new teachers coming to Rhode Island for the first time from France. Hosting one of our teachers is a great opportunity for your kids to brush up on their French before school starts, and to share your culture with new members of our community!

Most teachers only stay with their host family for two weeks or so at the end of August, as they get themselves settled and find a place to live. If you are interested in this chance, please contact Kate as soon as possible. Spots will fill up quickly!

Thank you in advance for opening your home.
Two Buddy Families Needed

Each year, FASRI pairs up new parents with veterans to help our incoming families feel welcome and learn about school life.

We only need two buddies for incoming families. Interested? Please e-mail Raissa at rmensah@fasri.org for information. Thank you in advance for your help.
