Delays and closings
FASRI gets in touch with its families in three ways to announce delays and closings in the event of snow: on our website, at www.turnto10.com, and by phone.
If you have not seeing anything on Channel 10 or our website, we are open for business as usual. Merci!
Health
Winter is the season for lice and ringworm (a common skin fungus). Please check your kids' hair and skin for any nits or ring-like rashes regularly. Ringworm must be covered by a bandage and treated with an anti-fungal cream; children with lice should stay home until they and their belongings have been properly treated. Merci.

Admissions, re-enrollment, financial aid

For new students, including siblings of current students:
please come by the office to pick up an admissions package or download the forms from the FASRI website:
http://fasri.org/admissions/how-apply. The application deadline is January 31. We recommend that you complete the application as early as possible to give yourself the time to complete the admissions process comfortably. If you have any questions, please contact Louise Jakobson at ljakobson@fasri.org. - For current students: re-enrollment forms will be sent out in early February 2013 and must be returned by Friday, March 1, 2013.
- Financial Aid: We are committed to help qualified families afford a FASRI education. For full details of FASRI financial aid (Friday, March 1 application deadline) and the Bourses Scolaires (for French citizens, application deadline is March 8), please go to http://fasri.org/admissions/financial-aid-and-bourses-scolaires.

Extracurricular announcements
Dear Parents,
- Our "Apero Night" for Spring Language Classes is tomorrow (Thursday, January 24)! Please be sure to stop by to register, meet the teachers and fellow students, and get your books and information. A variety of French, English, and Arabic courses available for all ages!
- We will be holding a Musical Concert of the Afterschool Club Performers on Thursday, March 14, as part of the month of Francophonie. Students who are musical but not in clubs and would like to join in the festivities should contact me. Please note: all pieces performed must originate from a Francophone country.
- Summer camp brochures will be available online in February. Stay tuned!

It's going to be a BIG ONE!
The Beaujolais Festival turns 20 in November 2013! We are looking for volunteers to help us make this a magnificent event.

FASRI at the Providence Bruins
Come join FASRI families at a Providence Bruins hockey game! We get discounted tickets ($16 each), seats together, and kids will receive a cool hat. The game is Sunday, March 10, at 3:05 p.m. Please sign up and pay in the office by February 15.
