NEASC news

We have received the draft of the Visiting Committee's report and are in the process reading the document and sending any factual corrections to NEASC for incorporation into the report.

The final report will be sent before the Commission in February, and we will have more conclusive news afterwards. Please stay tuned!

From FASRI to high school

Head of School Dominique Velociter is now making the rounds of the local independent schools, presenting our current eighth graders to the high schools of their choice. Today, Ms. Velociter visited the Wheeler School: tomorrow, the Lincoln School! Coming up are visits to Providence Country Day, Moses Brown, and one or two others.

The admissions process for our eighth graders is nearing its end. We are sure to have some good news to share in the coming months!

Open House: Parents welcome!

The Open House is a great chance for you, our current parents, to learn more about the grades and programs that await your child in the elementary and middle schools. Teachers from all levels will be on hand and in their classrooms to answer your questions and show you around.

Please join us this Saturday, January 12, between 10 AM and 1 PM to learn more. We hope to see you!

Café Day this Friday

Cafe Day is this Friday, January 11. Please join us as we support this PA-sponsored event and reconnect with our community in 2013.

Admissions & re-enrollment
  • For new students, including siblings of current students: please come by the office to pick up an admissions package or download the forms from the FASRI website: http://fasri.org/admissions/how-apply. The application deadline is January 31. We recommend that you complete the application as early as possible to give yourself the time to complete the admissions process comfortably. If you have any questions, please contact Louise Jakobson: ljakobson@fasri.org.
  • For current students: re-enrollment forms will be sent out in early February 2013 and must be returned by Friday, March 1, 2013.

A delicious & productive night

board dinner

Last night, the FASRI Board of Trustees, including our Head, met at Johnson & Wales' Harborside campus for the first board meeting of 2013. They enjoyed a lovely meal in one of the private dining rooms and discussed plans for a successful year.
