Notes from the Office  

 

NO AFTERSCHOOL DECEMBER 21

There will be no Garderie or Clubs on Friday, December 21: the day before vacation. Please plan accordingly. Merci!

 

Make-up photos next week

There will be a make-up day for school pictures next Thursday, December 6.

 

Procedure for late students

All students in Grades 1 - 8 who arrive at school after 8:30 AM must check in with the Main Office before heading to their classrooms, with their cahiers ready to be signed by Martine. Merci!

 

Lost and Found

Is your child missing something? Please check out lost and found, located under the bench across from the Main Office. There are lots of coats and other belongings that need claiming. Anything not claimed before the holiday break will be donated.

Holiday Show Dates & Times

 

MATERNELLE (Pre-School to Kindergarten)

Next Friday, December 7, at 1:30 PM. Doors open at 1:15.

 

ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL

Friday, December 14, at 1:30 PM. Doors open at 1:15.

 

Parking: Please remember to tell your guests that there is no parking on the school side of John Street. Visitors should also take notice of parking signs on the surrounding streets. Merci!

 

Class Parties: All parties will take place on Friday, December 21. Times vary; please check with your children's teachers and class parents.

French High School Opportunity

 

The International School of Boston, in partnership with FASRI, has created a homestay opportunity for our graduating students to allow them to attend ISBOS for high school. An informational meeting is currently being arranged and will be announced soon. Stay tuned!

 

School Forum: Meeting Minutes

 

Thank you to all who came to FASRI earlier this month for the School Forum meeting. We covered a variety of program-related topics, from the English curriculum to school lunch. Please click here to read the minutes.

  • BRIGHTNIGHT Talent Auditions Sign Up Closes DECEMBER 2nd. For more information visit www.brightnight.org. This is a great opportunity for your kids to showcase their talents. TerraCycle Collection This Week: Help FASRI, Help the Environment

 

Bring in your old stuff and put it in the bins next to the office. TerraCycle pays FASRI for each item collected and recycles them for new purposes. 
 
These are the items eligible for collection:
  • High-tech: Laptops, analog cameras, digital cameras, cell phones, MP3 players, computer keyboards, computer mice, webcams.
  • Low-tech: tooth brushes, tooth paste tubes, floss containers, paired shoes of any type (except ski boots, skates, flip flops, slippers).
The next TerraCycle collection will be May 13-17, 2013
