RI Election Days: No Student Bus Service

RI public schools are closed on election days, meaning there will be no school buses for FASRI students on November 6. Please plan accordingly.

Morning Drop-Off

The school side of John Street is a fire lane. For safety reasons, there can be no parking at any time, especially during drop-off.

As you would at the airport, please do not exit your car when dropping off your children. Pull up, park, let them exit (with help from our student volunteers, if needed), and exit the drop-off line carefully.

Lunch Tickets

Hot lunch ticket prices are as follow:

  • Petite Section - Grade 3: $7.00
  • Grades 4 - 8: $8.00
Lost and Found
Is your child missing something? Please check out lost and found, located under the bench across from the Main Office. There are lots of coats and other belongings that need claiming. Merci.

FASRI parent involved in Brown University exhibit

Brown University senior Anya Eber worked with Haffenreffer Museum Research Associate (and FASRI parent!) Dr. Michčle Hayeur Smith to explore the social significance of dress in Iceland and the role of women in textile production. Researching archaeological textile fragments from the southern Icelandic sites of Skálholt and Bergthórshvoll, Eber has reconstructed garments from these fragments that provide new glimpses into what Icelanders wore from the 15th to the 18th century and into the skilled work of Icelandic women as weavers and creators of clothing. The Haffenreffer Museum is located at Manning Hall on the College Green at Brown University. Museum hours are Tuesday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; closed Mondays and Brown University Holidays. The museum is free and open to the public.
