FROM SUPERINTENDENT MUSSOLINE

As we continue to focus on our vision and mission, we have made great strides in responding to the suggestions and concerns that I have heard from our DASD stakeholders over the years.

This year, we have implemented two forward-thinking initiatives to advance the district's vision to become a world-class school district.   These initiatives are part of the administration and school board's goal to build on what is best about our district and work harder to ensure that we will be even better in the future.

Start the new year in proper form!

The district's Health and Wellness Committee also addresses the need to share information and resources that bring and promote high-quality wellness education, initiatives, programs and services to the students, families, and staff of the district resulting in improved health of all those participating.

One such program that we are focusing on this month is TEAM CMMD's annual run to raise funds for LOCAL FAMILIES FIGHTING CANCER This Run's Personal is a 5 K run, 1 mile walk that will take place at DHS West on November 7, 2015.    Click here for more

DCEF "Experience" now registering
for Fall classes

The acclaimed "Experience" after school program has begun registering students. Classes are being offered this fall throughout the district. All elementary schools and the Marsh Creek 6th Grade Center will have at least two program offerings. Middle school and high school students can also participate this fall as the foundation explores adding additional programs to the roster.  Click here for more information or to register your child.
