There will be no classes for
Nursery School, Early Childhood, Religious School or Adult Ed
Thursday, April 21 - Saturday, April 30, 2016.
All classes will resume on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
There will be no Shabbat Evening Service on Friday, April 22. Enjoy your Seder!
There will be no Torah Study on Saturday, April 23 or Saturday, April 30.
Temple Beth Shalom Annual Passover Seder will be held

- Kabbalat Shabbat, 5:30 - 6:45 pm Families with preschoolers to early elementary school-age children are invited to gather and welcome Shabbat together with the Rabbi and Cantor Robin, and dance with Israeli music specialist, Shmulik Gov-Ari, followed by dinner for the kids, and wine + cheese for the adults. RSVP as soon as possible.

Once again, Rabbi Schecter and Cantor Robin will conduct a community Temple Seder on the 2nd night of Passover, catered by Silver Spoon Caterers, with desserts from By the Way Bakery. $75 per person, $35 for pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah age. Children 2 years old and under who will sit in strollers or on your lap will not be charged. Reservations are made by sending in your check for the total amount no later than
April 15.

Annual Passover Gift of Double Chai
Now through Wednesday, April 6, 2016
We will be collecting gifts of double chai ($36), or multiples thereof, to help Project Ezra and Bronx Jewish Community Council provide Passover food packages to those in need. Checks payable to Temple Beth Shalom are accepted in the office and/or donations can be made online through our website.

Grade 7 Family Shabbat Dinner

Families of our 7th Graders will join Rabbi Schecter, Cantor Robin and their teachers for a Shabbat celebration, and then the students will help to lead our congregational Family Shabbat Service.
