The tracking number field in DB Distributor was previously twenty characters in length. It required expansion for a number of reasons, including the USPS changes to the Intelligent Mailing package bar code (IMpb).  This mailing bar code requires support for tracking numbers that are 22-26 characters in length.

To accommodate this requirement and in anticipation of other such external tracking number size changes in the future, the size of the tracking number field in DB Distributor files has been increased universally to sixty characters.

The logical name of the field will continue to be TRACKING_NUM but the maximum length of the field and the physical location within the DB/d files will change.
