Nominations Being Accepted for Citizen of the Year 

Glendora organizations and Citizens have until Friday, February 1st to submit their nomination form for Glendora's 2012 Citizen(s) of the Year.  Nomination forms are available at the Glendora Chamber of Commerce, located at 224 N. Glendora Avenue.  You may also download the form from the Chamber's website  HERE.   Forms must be delivered to the Chamber office by Friday, February 1st at 5:00 p.m. No nominations will be accepted after the deadline.

 

Selection criteria includes the following:

  • Lasting contributions to the community welfare and betterment; 
  • Participation in community, civic, and governmental enterprises;
  • Demonstrated leadership attributes;
  • Spirit of cooperation with individuals and organizations.

Glendora service clubs and non-profit support organizations comprise the board of the Citizen of the Year committee and elect the recipient(s).  This year's recipient(s) will be selected on Thursday, February 7th.

 

The Citizen of the Year banquet honoring this years' recipient(s) will be held on Thursday, April 18th at the Glendora Country Club.
