Dear Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis Members and Friends,

As we work to establish finalists in the five committees for this year, we are excited to start planning for next year. Please consider the following:

  • Does paying your 2016 membership in installments sound attractive? If yes, the first $250 installment is due March 31 (ideally). Contact Beth Thomas, the Impact 100 Membership Chair, at joinus@impact100indy.org if you have any questions.
  • If you are interested in participating on the nominating committee, which will help select board members for 2015-2016, please contact  Karen Holly. You don't need to be on the board to participate in this committee.
  • Are you interested in serving on the Impact 100's Board of Directors? We are looking for members who want to help guide our organization. If this is something that you may be interested in, please contact Karen Holly.

Our grant-making process is underway! The five Focus Area Committees have selected the non-profits who have been asked to submit a full grant proposal. The non-profits are:

Arts and Culture
Classical Music Indy

Join Us for Our Annual Dinner!

As you know, this year is Impact 100's tenth anniversary, and we couldn't have done it without your support. Please join us on Tuesday, June 9 at The Willows on Westfield for our annual dinner, where we will hear presentations from the five finalists and place our votes for the recipient of $100,000. For our anniversary year, we are excited to also be able to give an additional $84,000 in residual grants, with each runner-up receiving $21,000.

Invitations will be sent later in the spring. We look forward to seeing you there!

Impact 100 Pensacola Featured in Local PBS Documentary

Our sister organization, Impact 100 Pensacola Bay Area - the largest Impact 100 organization in the country - was the subject of an hour-long documentary by WSRE.

In the documentary, the women of Impact 100 talk about how Impact 100 concept has become a phenomenon in women's philanthropy. While Pensacola was not the first Impact 100 (that honor belongs to Cincinnati), it is the largest, with 1,025 members in 2014. The video features interviews with Impact 100 Cincinnati founder Wendy Steele and Impact 100 Pensacola founder Debbie Ritchie (and how she learned about Impact 100 in People Magazine). The video is quite an inspiration!
