Auraria Campus Venues
The Auraria Campus offers a broad range of venues that will accommodate a variety of events, including weddings, banquets, receptions, conferences, lectures, festivals, business meetings, and more.
The Tivoli Student Union
A Denver landmark since 1870, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers some of the most unique and elegant reception and meeting rooms in Denver. Many of its historic features have been preserved and lend a dynamic backdrop for formal events and celebrations. A variety of room and event spaces are available, suitable for staff meetings, business retreats, conferences, or elegant receptions.
Golda Meir House
Conference Room
Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir (1898-1978) was a powerful international leader and diplomat who greatly impacted history. The Golda Meir house, which was relocated to the Auraria Campus from its original location in northwest Denver, is her only known U.S. residence. The house is a duplex-one side serves as a museum; the adjoining side serves as a conference room, which works well for catered and non-catered business meetings.
St. Cajetan's
A Spanish Colonial church built in 1925, St. Cajetan's once served as the hub of the Auraria neighborhood's Spanish-speaking community until 1973. This landmark church is now a multi-purpose event center featuring a main hall with a large stage and is suited for a wide variety of events, including weddings, lectures, banquets, and fundraisers.
Event Center
The Event Center is the recreation facility for the Auraria Campus. The Gymnasium can accommodate up to 2700 people, making it ideal for a distinguished speaker or symposium. The Lobby can accommodate a large group of 250, but is also well suited for recreational activities or meetings. The Green Room overlooks the gym in the loft area and is suitable for business meetings, banquets, and fundraisers.

Labor Day began in Toronto, Canada in 1872, but quickly made its way south to the U.S. Originally it began as a significant demonstration demanding rights for workers.
Labor Day was the first Monday holiday in the United States, and one of the few designed to fall on a Monday from the start. The Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which took effect on January 1, 1971, created more three-day weekends for federal employees by making Memorial Day, Washington's Birthday, Columbus Day and Veterans Day Monday holidays. The observance of Veterans Day was later changed back to November 11 by an act of Congress. When Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was created, it was also designated as a Monday holiday.
Labor Day is the third most popular holiday weekend for barbecuing, after July 4th and Memorial Day.
Labor Day is the official end to hot dog season. According to the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council, hot dog season begins on Memorial Day and ends on Labor Day.
Labor Day is often referred to as the 'unofficial end of summer'. Officially, summer extends through late September. This year, the first day of fall will be September 23rd.
Football season starts on or around Labor Day and many teams play their first game of the year during Labor Day weekend. (The Denver Broncos first regular season game is September 7th against the Indiana Colts.)

When the seasons change, we change right along with it. From making small decor changes inside and outside, changing the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and sending kids off to school, fall is the season of major changes.

Thank You for Your
Kind Words!
"It was OUTSTANDING! A number of the women commented on how tasty the food was! I loved the granola bars that you guys made; they were well received! Dan did fantastically in set up and break down and was quiet and unobtrusive when he had to come in while we were teaching!
Lunch choice was excellent. The chicken was especially tender and yummy. The 'build your own trail mix' was also appreciated. All was first-rate!"
Leadership Investment- Corporate Event, August 2014
"The food, service, Kelly (Serendipity Event Coordinator) and her staff did a great job!!!!
We chose wisely in hiring Serendipity.
The S'more's bar was a hit with the kids.
The biggest surprise was Karyn's family who came out from the East Coast. I believe she would agree that Serendipity and the overall party were pretty over the top. Our guest did not realize how fancy of a party we were having. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere."
