Serendipity Catering Highlights a Friend

We recently catered a holiday party at this lovely gallery featuring Colorado's most famed scenic photographer, John Fielder, and fell in love with the event space!

We got together with gallery director, Kelly to ask a few questions about this unique Santa Fe Art District venue, and get a few tips about hosting events at galleries.

Q: What makes the event space at John Fielder Gallery different from other galleries in Denver/Santa Fe district?

A: The John Fielder's Colorado Gallery and Denver Photo Art Gallery show some of the best local and international landscape photography in Colorado! The space is large, with different rooms the attendees can meander through and enjoy while they sip their wine and eat their fantastic fare from Serendipity.. Plus, it's always changing, so you can have an event one year, and the following year the space will have been completely redone with new work!

Q: What do you think makes renting an art gallery more appealing for hosting events?

A: Everyone can connect with photography. Not only do we have the most renowned photographer's work here, John Fielder, but we have some of the best up and comers as well. The art we feature is accessible and enjoyable to celebrate among.

Q: What types of events are best suited for the space?

A: Because our space is broken into smaller spaces in some areas, events of 75-125 with passed fare and drinks is best. Sit down dinners are doable, but for
smaller groups only.

Q: What advice would you give someone looking to host an event at a gallery?

A: Communicate. We've done many events and can be of great assistance when choosing food, décor (centerpieces, etc.) drinks... we are very easy going and love working with our event clients!
