Hey everyone,

Thanks to each and every one of you for all of your prayers, love, support, and encouragement during my recent surgery. It made all the difference, as did Mary, whom I now see as my special appointed angel from God. She has always been special, but now I'm convinced she is not a mere mortal! Seriously, she has been lovingly serving me night and day. I see God's love for me through this undeserved favor, minute by minute. It has been challenging for her I know. I'm difficult sometimes in a normal state. You should see me on morphine. When I was trying to use my left hand as a phone receiver to call out from the hospital room, (the call wouldn't go through) or having to listen to me quote bible verses to her (while out of my head) that had nothing to do with anything going on in the real world, she just lovingly pressed on. That's just some of the funny stuff. There were lots of not-so-funny experiences for both of us, but His grace is sufficient!

I look forward to being back this weekend, Lord willing. Until then, in whatever you are facing, look to the end promise (Jesus the Word) and nothing else.

"For we walk by faith and not by sight." (II Cor.5:7)

Love you!
