What to think of when accessorizing Bride and Bridesmaids Necklaces and Necklines 

When designing your necklaces, it's always a good idea to take into account the style of dress that will be worn.  Size of beads, length of necklace, and colors that work together are all governed by the dresses worn.  You don't want your necklace and neckline to clash.  Here are the most common necklines. 
 
  • Bride match your metals to your dress
  • Choose earrings with your hair style and neckline in mind. 
  • Drop earrings are best suited to longer hair and lower necklines. 
  • Stud earrings look best with an up do hairstyle and higher necklines fresh water pearls. 
  • V-Neck thin chain with simple pendant single or double stranded pearls. 
  • Vintage flair- create an interesting flair by taking a more modern approach with your wedding jewelry. 
  • Sweetheart or Strapless- skip necklace and focus on chandelier earrings clear crystal for sleek look or hint of color.

Nepal Earrings
  
This month I went on a field trip- and came across a case full of Nepal jewelry with the two earthquakes that happened less than one month ago in Nepal, I felt this jewelry was calling for me- to bring back home - and so I did.. 
 
We currently have several  styles of Nepal Earrings to choose from.   Did you know many of the jewelry craftsmen are found in the mountains of Nepal?  Are in fact not Nepalese but refugees who fled from Tibet when Chinese invaded in the 1950's.  It is also important to know many of the craftsmen are not men at all, but women.  Most common stones used on Nepalese jewelry making are Turquoise and Coral.  Turquoise symbolizes the sky and the sea and because the sky is endless the turquoise stone represents infinity, or the limitless ascension of the mind.
