Synod profile published and available to download
To provide necessary information for members of the synod and potential candidates for bishop to participate knowledgeably in the bishop election process and understand the needs of the synod, the Bishop Election Committee (BEC) has published a profile of the Saint Paul Area Synod which is now available for the public.

Understanding the current U.S. religious landscape

The Saint Paul Area and Minneapolis Area Synods Practice Discipleship Teams are hosting another Practice Discipleship Training Event that will help those who work with Children, Youth and Family ministries in either paid or volunteer positions to understand the current landscape of religion in America and learn skills and attitudes that will help congregations adapt to the changes of this missional age. Bega Kwa Bega Fall Festival this Saturday Nov. 9, Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.Christ the King, New Brighton.
The morning will be filled with fellowship, learning and prayer as we give thanks for the partnership with our brothers and sisters in Tanzania. We will celebrate the life-affirming ministry of Don and Eunice Fultz who are retiring as volunteer companion synod coordinators with a presentation, a reception, and a few more surprises.
