Apply for a Domestic Hunger Grant
The ELCA Domestic Hunger Grants program is now taking applications for 2014 grants. Grants often range from $1,000-$3,000 and can be used for direct service, education, organizing, and advocacy for poverty and hunger related work in congregations and organizations.

Application deadline is July 17, 2013.

Immersion opportunity through LSS of Minnesota

Are you looking for an exciting and engaging summer volunteer project for youth and/or adults? You are invited to join Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota at The Center for Changing Lives (CFCL) in South Minneapolis for a four-hour "Immersion" experience.  

 

You'll have the opportunity to help prepare and participate in a community meal, learn about the challenges of poverty and restorative justice, listen to stories about how lives are changed at the CFCL, and discover new ways to make a difference locally.
