Alumnus quote...

"The Children's Home was a very special place for me, my brother and my sister, in the 1960's. We were taught a lot of good values, love and understanding, as well as God's love for each of us. There were also things to learn like cleaning and responsibilities that most of us did not know how to do. The Children's Home was the best place for my family to be for the years we were there."

Current Needs

Would your church or group consider providing Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner for one of our resident homes? To relieve the houseparents of having to prepare a large meal on those holidays, we supply each home with a complete meal with all the trimmings from Publix. The cost to provide a meal for one of our homes is $100. We have 14 homes across our campus.

Please extend a warm welcome to LaShawnda Harkness. LaShawnda is our new Open Hearts Family Services Director. She will oversee our foster care program.

We are in need of gift bags for birthdays and Christmas. We would prefer they be generic and not specifically for a boy or girl or a certain age. Any will be appreciated.

Stetson

The women's basketball team from Stetson University came and offered a basketball clinic for the young girls in our care. They all enjoyed it. Thank you so much.
