HHI Partnership Completes Crisis-Mapping Evaluation

In partnership with Ushahidi, and with the support of the Knight Foundation, HHI has completed the Kenya Ushahidi Evaluation, a nine-month research project examining the key crisis-mapping technology.

The evaluation was conducted by HHI associate faculty member, Jennifer Chan (Assistant Professor, Emergency Medicine, Northwestern University) and Melissa Tully (Assistant Professor, University of Iowa). The research was also used to create case studies and Ushahidi toolboxes.
