Did You Know?
The research behind the model is astounding: falls occurring in hospitals cost over $1 billion annually, or $15,000 - $30,000 per fall. Additionally, serious injuries resulting from falls in nursing homes cost over $4 billion annually.
Those are big numbers - and surely good nuggets of information to include in an Empath presentation! |
Empath Pop-Up Now Available
Do you have an Empath mock-up coming up? Then you need a FREE pop-up display to put next to Empath. The front features a basic introduction to the recliner, while details about the insights and research are printed on the back of the pop-up.
These will ensure your mock-up is perfectly branded and can keep selling even if you're not there.

Empath a Hit at Amerinet!
Well over 1500 Amerinet members, both customers and suppliers, attended this year's conference in Orlando. Featured this year were seminars designed to help members improve outcomes at lower costs, as well as supplier-focused education sessions to help understand how to increase effectiveness and sales through the Amerinet- contract relationship.
Nurture attendees Rob Lau and Megan Burraston reported that there was a positive buzz as members strolled through the vendor booths. Amerinet sales teams, made up of field-based sales professionals, attend the conference and Rob and Megan had an opportunity to meet with many of them. These professionals call on hospital members every day and are tremendous resources to help deepen relationships and collaborate on sales opportunities.
Nearly all stopped at the Nurture booth, and Rob and Megan were able to have many productive conversations about both upcoming and recently completed projects in which Steelcase and/or Nurture products were successfully used.
Many of the Amerinet members were drawn to the Empath recliner and when they heard of the insights and research behind its many features, they were very impressed. "I had a member come through who loved the drop-down arm: 'Being able to transfer a patient from the side will be very helpful and more comfortable for the patient', they said. That was good feedback to hear," Megan said. |
