Join us Saturday evening March 12 from 5pm-8pm for our annual Shamrock Shuffle Wine & Beer Walk!

Gather with friends and enjoy the best wine & beer in the region. 15 local wineries and select breweries will be located throughout Country Village in our one-of-a-kind, locally-owned shops.

Purchase tickets online for $20. If you wait until the last minute you can purchase them for $25 at the door, while supplies last (tickets are required).

Select bottles of wine and beer will be available for sale! Proceeds to benefit the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce.

Our Luncheons are a great opportunity to socialize, network, get updates from the Chamber and find out what is happening around the community.

"State of the Chamber" January General Meeting Was Standing Room Only!
    
Thank you to everyone who attended our January General Meeting and to all our volunteers who made it a success.

With 70+ people present it was standing room only to hear Brittany Caldwell, our new Executive Director deliver the "State of the Chamber" presentation.

Brief Summary: Great things are coming to the Chamber in 2016. Including but not limited to: Increased support of our members and their businesses, more collaboration with the community & other area Chambers, and continued growth in membership and benefits!

Attendees were introduced to many new members, mingled and networked before and after, and savored the delicious breakfast food generously donated by Alexa's Catering.

A special thank you all our amazing volunteers and to the Northshore Senior Center for hosting.  We couldn't do it without you!

The Economic Development Council of Seattle & King County (EDC) has teamed up with our partners at Life Science Washington (formerly the WBBA) to bring you: Dollars & $ense: Life Sciences & Health, a workshop focused on raising capital within the Life Sciences & Health industry.
 
Dollars & $ense: Life Sciences & Health will feature a panel of industry experts who will cover various sources of capital available to Life Sciences & Health companies, successful and failed fundraising campaigns, and answer your questions about best practices for raising capital. Following the panel will be a Q&A and a hosted networking happy hour, as well as a chance to tour the new state-of-the-art maker space at UW Bothell.

Four new businesses come to Bothell by way of one hard-working woman

"Sporting four separate business cards, Lauren Dillon-Merrill is something of a jill-of-all-trades.
The 30-year-old Kirkland resident recently opened a multi-business location in Bothell's Logsdon Building, right above The Neverending Bookshop, offering digital arts and design services, photography, clothing design and an esoteric healing practice. 'Some people come in for one thing, and end up wanting to do more,' she said. 

While she graduated from Full Sail University in Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in digital arts and design, Dillon-Merrill's attention has been captivated by esoteric healing more than seven years after she started...."  Read the full article here

Got Hazardous Materials? 
                         
The Wastemobile is coming back to Bothell in 2016 providing six opportunities for residents to drop off hazardous materials for proper disposal.  The event is open to all King County residents and those living within the City limits of Bothell. 
 
The event takes place at the Seattle Times Building parking lot, 19200 120th Ave NE, Bothell, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The next Wastemobile date is February 26 - 28. Additional dates are listed on the City Events Schedule. Confirm the list of items you can take before you go.
