Learn how hunger and our local response impacts families, seniors, and children in Bothell and our community. Share solutions and resources.

The meeting will be held at the Northshore Fire Department Station Community Meeting Room 7220 NE 181st ST Kenmore, WA 98028 (Parking on site).

Northshore Schools Foundation Grants $76K for Northshore
 The Northshore Schools Foundation has granted $76K for Northshore students, teachers and community connections.
Funds were raised during the 2014-15 school year through numerous programs presented by the Foundation, including the annual All in for Kids Campaign, The Taste of the Holiday Wine Walk, Molbaks' Holiday Shopping weekend, Spring Luncheon, Retired NSD Staff Brunch, Milk Money community change drive, designated workplace giving and several other partnership events. This season our funding partners are Woodinville Fire Fighters Benevolent Fund, School Employees Credit Union, and PEMCO.
Funds from the grant will be directed to these key projects over the next school year: *Services for homeless students *Backpacks for kids in need *Teacher training on best practices for promoting social emotional health for all District students & mentorship support for teachers in their first year of teaching. *Job Training and Emergency supplies for students in our Adult Education Program *Career Fair at Timbercrest & Leota Junior High School *Project Lead the Way

TSUGA Hosts Arts Award Show Friday, October 30

TSUGA Fine Arts & Framing will be hosting the EAFA 2015 Juried Members Show. The show goes up for viewing on October 27. This is a large exhibit, so come in early to see it first.
EAFA (Evergreen Association of Fine Arts) is a local organization committed to furthering art appreciation and networking among local artists.
Opening reception: Friday, October 30, 2015 5 - 8 pm Awards Ceremony at 6:30

We Honey Do is Hiring  If you know someone in the trades, or who wants to be trained, and who brings a great attitude and work ethic, We Honey Do wants to talk to them! The rest we can teach if needed.
We Honey Do needs to add an additional 10-12 new teammates from Mt Vernon to Olympia now!
We Honey Do is also in need of good referrals of excellent licensed subcontractors in all specialty classes as well.

Taste of the Holidays & Wine Walk Saturday, November 14 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Kick off the holiday season with us! For a flurry of gift ideas & a delightful shopping experience, join us for the 28th annual Taste of the Holidays. The merchants invite you to a full day of special demos, activities, & holiday refreshments.
Santa's Reindeer will debut at this holiday event. Bring the kids and visit with live reindeer. They will be here the entire holiday season. Nibble on complimentary hot roasted chestnuts at 4PM (while supplies last). View magical twinkling lights as you stroll through the Village on our annual Wine Walk featuring 15+ local wineries. The vintners will pour wine tastes from 6-9pm. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, BYOG (bring your own glass). Click HERE to purchase tickets. **New this year ** A limited number of VIP tickets are available which will allow you early access to the tastings, and a glass with your ticket. Check in for VIP's starts at 5:00 PM! VIP Tickets are $30. The Taste of the Holidays Wine Walk is a great time to shop and enjoy libations while connecting with friends.
