Start getting your aprons dusted off and your recipes ready for the 2015 Chilifest on Thursday, October 8th.   An annual tradition, get your team together for downtown Bothell's premier chili event!  Interested in cooking up a pot to compete?  Email Brittany@bothellchamber.com.  The fee to participate is $25 and provides you with 4ft of table space for your crockpot and business promotions.   There will be various awards and prizes.   Chilifest is hosted by Life Celebrations by Washelli and sponsored by the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce. |

 | AT&T Hosts Girls Who Code Program Graduation, August 14th
 
  On June 29th AT&T welcomed Girls Who Code to Bothell, WA. A summer immersion program that inspires, educates, and equips young women with advanced computing skills, girls from across Washington State are participating in this seven-week intensive program.   Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM high school girls are provided a college semester's worth of computer science curriculum. The program provides classroom education as well as exposure to the world of computer science, with field trips to places like the AT&T Mobility Labs and Data Center as well as to major companies in the media and technology fields. In addition, participants meet with leaders in public policy and technology such as Congresswomen Suzan DelBene, AT&T Senior Executive Vice President & Global Market Officer Lori Lee as well as AT&T product engineers and its western regional president.  Participants will graduate on Aug. 14 and present their final projects to family, friends and AT&T executives.      "AT&T is making it possible to impact thousands girls," said Girls Who Code Program Manager, Josephine Lee. "With their support we're able to teach girls how to program, design web sites, build mobile apps, robotics and much more. We thank AT&T for giving Girls Who Code not only financial support but the gift of time.                 	| | HealthPoint Hosts Dare to Care 5K DashSaturday, August 15
 9:00 - 11:00 AM 
  This family friendly 5K Walk/Run is open to participants of all abilities. The course is accessible to all levels, ages, and groups. Bring the family or your work team - even the dog! 
 The Dare to Care Dash is an out-and-back course through downtown Bothell to the Sammamish Trail. Strollers and dogs are welcome so bring the whole family. We'll have food, music and even an appearance by Blitz, Seahawks mascot. $20 per person includes a tshirt, kids 12 and under are free.
