Bastyr Hosts "Mindfulness for Stress Reduction" Thursday, February 12

Stress is something we all deal with, but that doesn't mean it has to rule our lives. Left untreated, stress can exacerbate and even cause chronic ailments. One way to start tackling your stress is through mindfulness and such practices as meditation, yoga, nutrition, and hydrotherapy. Join Dr. Brad Lichtenstein, ND, BCB, who supervises mind-body medicine appointments at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. In this free talk on Thursday, February 12, from 6:00 - 7:30 PM, Dr. Lichtenstein will offer tips to help you take that first step toward stress reduction.

Homeward Pet Fur Ball Auction & Dinner Saturday, March 28

Help us salute our dedicated donors, powerful partnerships, abundant adopters, faithful fosters, valuable volunteers, cuddly canines and fabulous felines!
Our furry friends are hoping to fetch 250 donations of $25 in February 2015! Every donation benefits the animals awaiting their forever homes and provides food, vaccinations, microchips and more essential care.
