8th Annual Chilifest

Chili CookOff Warm up at the October 9th Chilifest in Bothell to support Hopelink.

An annual tradition, come to downtown Bothell's premier chili event! Sample the culinary wares of 15 chili chefs. There is no admission charge so please bring a can of chili, or other non-perishable food item, or cash donation. Each $1 or food item donated gets you a single Vote for People's Choice.

Chilifest is hosted by Life Celebrations by Washelli and sponsored by the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce.

NSC Logo Kenmore Vintage Fashion Show - Sunday, October 5, 2:00 - 3:30 PM

Pancake Breakfast - First & Third Saturday of Each Month

Breakfast of pancakes and eggs, served with ham or sausage, coffee or tea. All ages & families welcome. Cost is $4 per person, $5 per nonmember. Pancake breakfasts are fundraisers for Northshore Senior Center.

King County Public Health The City of Kenmore and the Kenmore Library will present "Wellness in the Workplace" on Thursday, October 2nd, 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Kenmore City Hall. Healthy employees are an essential asset for a healthy business and a sound bottom line.

Join naturopathic physicians Dr. Gail Buquicchio (Employee Wellness Program Director at Everett Public Schools) and Dr. Joshua Goldenberg (adjunct faculty member of Bastyr University), as well as staff from the Kenmore Library, for a free seminar on how employers and managers can create and sustain a healthy work environment. Bothell-Everett Highway Construction Completion Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Don't worry about traffic and construction any longer, the NEW stoplight in front of Country Village is now functioning and construction is COMPLETE!

Join us in front of Country Village shops on October 3rd at 11:00 AM as we celebrate the highway construction completion with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by The City of Bothell & Country Village Shops.  

Jantee Bistro & Bottle Shop will provide appetizers. Additionally, receive a free tote bag filled with discounts and coupons to Country Village Shops.

This is also the last day of the Bothell Farmers Market so meander through the booths and pick up fresh flowers, produce & more for the weekend.

Homeward Pet Adoption Open House

Homeward Pet Adoption Center will be joining Pawsitive Alliance's 3rd Annual Statewide Shelter Open House Event!

This unique event spotlights animal shelters across Washington and the homeless animals in their care. Twenty-four shelters will be opening up their doors to host an Open House and bring community members in as honored guests. The goal is to help the shelters grow their adopter, donor, and volunteer bases while raising awareness of the good work they do on a daily basis for animals in need!  

Visit Homeward Pet in Woodinville for cookies and beverages, a tour of their facility, enter to win a basket of dog or cat goodies, and meet the adoptable cats and dogs in their care. Plus, all adopters will get to spin the Wheel of Fortune to determine their reduced adoption fee. For more information, visit

Come celebrate the fall season on the weekend of October 11th & 12th!  The festival will run from 11:00AM to 5:00PM on Saturday and Sunday.


Stroll the grounds decorated with corn stalks and pumpkins while you enjoy unique craft booths featuring one-of-a-kind items made by local artisans.  Paint a pumpkin! Pumpkins and paints are included.  Also, face painting, pony rides, train rides and much more!  


The Eclectic Cloggers will be performing on Saturday in addition to other live entertainment throughout the weekend!

9th Seattle South Asian Film Festival

Produced by Tasveer, Seattle's 9th South Asian Film Festival (SSAFF) will represent the best of films from culturally rich South Asian Diaspora and its widespread influence. Throughout the 10 days, SSAFF will present narrative films, documentaries, workshops, performances, and galas.

The 10-day festival will open in Renton, then after making stops in Seattle and Kirkland, it will end in Bothell. We will bring exciting filmmakers, guest speakers from all over the United States and South Asia. We also celebrate and involve many local organizations in hosting this great festival. We will host gala parties, community forums and discussion groups on South Asian issues.
